Wisconsin DQ Puts Up ‘Politically Incorrect’ Sign, Owner Doesn’t Back Down

Controversy Stirred by Dairy Queen Sign

A Dairy Queen billboard in Wisconsin has stirred online debate by displaying traditional holiday greetings and gratitude to veterans. Owner Kevin Scheunemann explains the sign reflects his and his staff’s values, installed four years ago in response to a complaint about Christian music. He says it hasn’t caused further issues.

The sign gained attention after an Oregon tourist’s Facebook post, sparking inclusivity debates. Local business owners support Scheunemann’s choice, asserting customers can leave if they disagree. Dairy Queen clarifies the sign doesn’t reflect its stance, stressing respect for all customers’ beliefs.
