Famous Game Show Host …

Chuck Woolery, the legendary game show host best known as the original host of Wheel of Fortune (1975–1981) and Love Connection (1983–1994), has passed away at the age of 83. Woolery died on November 23, 2024, at his home in Texas. His close friend and podcast co-host, Mark Young, reported that Woolery had complained of feeling unwell and experienced difficulty breathing shortly before his passing. Paramedics were called but were unable to save him​

Beyond game shows, Woolery also pursued a music career before entering television and hosted other notable programs such as Scrabble and Lingo. His long-running podcast, Blunt Force Truth, explored his conservative political views. Woolery’s charm and wit made him a beloved figure in American entertainment​

He is survived by his wife, Kim, and his children.
