Robert De Niro, the renowned actor at 80, recently shared an endearing moment with his 10-month-old daughter, Gia. In a rare glimpse into his personal life, De Niro was captured cuddling Gia in a photo, showcasing their precious bond.

“She’s such an adorable baby. So sweet,” De Niro expressed in an interview with People, highlighting his joy as a father. Despite being in his eighth decade, De Niro laughed about the unique family dynamic, with Gia being the youngest among his brood.

In addition to Gia, whom he welcomed with girlfriend Tiffany Chen last spring, De Niro is a father to six other children and has four grandchildren. However, he faced tragedy with the loss of one grandchild, Leandro, to an accidental overdose last year.

Speaking emotionally about Gia, De Niro shared, “Everything that I’m consumed with or worried about just goes away when I look at her. It’s wondrous.” He also offered insights into his domestic life, emphasizing the supportive role he plays while acknowledging the importance of assistance.

De Niro and Chen’s relationship blossomed after meeting on set in 2015, eventually leading to the birth of Gia in 2023. Reflecting on their journey, Chen remarked, “When we were working, it was just work… And then a couple of years later, we got back in touch, and I said, ‘Oh, I guess we get along, and I guess we really get along.'”

Previously married twice, De Niro has found happiness and fulfillment in his role as a father once again, cherishing the moments with his youngest daughter. As he navigates parenthood anew, he’s grateful for the joy Gia brings into his life, creating precious memories in his golden years.
