Fox News has once again emerged as the undisputed leader in cable news for 2022, outshining rivals MSNBC and CNN. Notably, Fox News achieved its third-highest-rated year ever, making it the third-best year in cable news history for total day viewers. This marked the seventh consecutive year and the 21st straight year as the highest-rated cable news network.

The network secured its second-highest share in the 25-54 demographic, capturing 53% of the total day audience. Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott credited their success to delivering innovative news and opinion programming.
Fox News dominated the cable news landscape with the top 13 out of 15 programs, including hits like ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight,’ ‘Hannity,’ and ‘The Five.’ ‘The Five’ made history as the most-watched non-primetime cable program in 2022, boasting 3,432,000 viewers and 465,000 in the crucial A25-54 demographic, solidifying Fox News’ unrivaled position in the industry.
