Chore Chart for My Husband
Background
We separated last year due to my husband’s midlife crisis but are now trying to fix our marriage. I work full-time while he’s been unemployed for the past eight months. Since reuniting, he’s been critical of my housework.
The Chore Chart
Frustrated with his complaints, I created a chore chart listing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and checked off what I had completed. When he saw it, he asked angrily, “What the hell is this?” I responded, “I’m doing chores without being asked. Which ones have you done?”
His Reaction
He became even angrier and walked away. This made me question, “What do you do when a man acts like an entitled child?”
