Neighbors Hated My House Color and Repainted It While I Was Away — I Was Enraged & Took My Revenge
Returning from a two-week trip, Victoria found her bright yellow house, lovingly painted by her late husband, repainted gray by her neighbors. Enraged, she decided to teach them a lesson they wouldn’t forget.
Victoria’s neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Davis, had always complained about her house color. “Whoa! That’s the brightest house we’ve ever seen! Did you paint it yourself?” they’d say. Despite her calm responses, their disdain was clear. They even complained to the city and tried to sue her, but their efforts failed.
While Victoria was away, the Davises hired a painting company to repaint her house. “They showed the police the paperwork,” her neighbor Mr. Thompson explained, “Apparently, the Davises claimed you hired them.” Furious, Victoria confronted the painting company and discovered the Davises had impersonated her.
Taking the matter to court, Victoria had the painting company’s workers testify. The judge found the Davises guilty of fraud and vandalism, ordering them to repaint the house back to yellow and cover all costs. Outside the courthouse, Mrs. Davis hissed, “I hope you’re happy.” Victoria replied, “I will be when my house is YELLOW again!”
