Ivanka Trump follows in dad Donald’s footsteps with surprising career move after previously making feelings clear about his presidency
Ivanka Trump appears to be making a surprising career pivot just weeks after declaring she had no interest in returning to politics alongside her father, Donald Trump.
The 43-year-old businesswoman, eldest daughter of the former president, previously worked as a senior advisor during his first term but had recently expressed no desire to reenter that world, citing the toll it would take on her children.
In a Fox & Friends interview, Ivanka stated she enjoys policy work but dislikes politics, calling it a “dark world” she didn’t want to expose her family to, especially after last year’s assassination attempt on her father.
Despite steering clear of politics, Ivanka is now stepping into another Trump family legacy—real estate. Her father built his fortune through property development, rebranding the family business as the Trump Organization in the 1970s.
Ivanka, along with her husband Jared Kushner, is now working on a massive luxury development project: transforming an abandoned Soviet weapons base on Albania’s Sazan Island into a resort.
The couple reportedly plan to invest around $1.4 billion into the 1,400-acre site, having already received early approval from the Albanian government.
According to reports, they aim to work with top architects and brands to turn the hazardous, neglected location into a world-class destination. Albania’s president welcomed the project, stating the country “needs luxury tourism like a desert needs water
