Former child star who appeared in cult classic movie

Former child actor Brock Pierce, known for roles in The Mighty Ducks and First Kid, left acting at 16 and reinvented himself as a tech entrepreneur. He co-founded the Digital Entertainment Network, an early streaming platform, and later made millions from early investments in Bitcoin. Pierce also founded ZAM, a company focused on gaming communities and publishing. In 2020, he ran for U.S. president with support from Akon, though he received only 0.03% of the vote. He later played a key role in El Salvador’s adoption of Bitcoin as legal currency and has accumulated an estimated net worth of $700 million to $1.1 billion.

In recent years, Pierce offered support to media personality Wendy Williams amid her health and legal struggles, offering her a stay in his mansion to heal with full-time care. Pierce called her a “national treasure” and praised her past generosity. He owns multiple luxury properties worldwide, including in Puerto Rico, New York City, and Amsterdam. In May 2024, Pierce was named Ambassador to Central America by the House of Feigenblatt to PARLACEN, expressing enthusiasm for building international partnerships and working with regional leaders to promote growth and cooperation.
