Elon Musk vows to form his own political party following explosive falling out with Donald Trump

Elon Musk may be stepping back into politics, possibly positioning himself as a rival to Donald Trump. Once allies, the two had a public falling out over Trump’s controversial “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” with Musk strongly opposing it.

Musk made waves online by suggesting Trump was named in the Epstein Files, though he later retracted the claim. Meanwhile, Trump, occupied with global issues like the Iran-Israel conflict, has largely remained calm despite their feud.

Although tensions seemed to cool, Musk reignited controversy on X by criticizing Trump’s bill, calling it “insane and destructive.” Despite the criticism, Trump still called Musk a “wonderful guy,” hinting their relationship isn’t completely severed.

Musk warned that if the bill passes, he’ll form a new political group called the “America Party.” He argued that Americans need an alternative to the traditional two-party system to ensure their voices are heard.

He also threatened political consequences for those supporting the bill, promising to campaign against them and predicting primary losses. He targeted politicians who campaigned to cut spending but supported this bill.

Taking it further, Musk said he’d create posters of lawmakers who back the bill, portraying them as liars with Pinocchio imagery and claims they added $5 trillion to the national debt.

While Musk can’t run for president due to being born in South Africa, his political ambitions appear strong. After his previous government role, many believe he’s gearing up for a bigger political presence—potentially challenging Trump’s influence in Washington.
