Elon Musk Makes Major U-Turn On Trump Epstein Claims

Elon Musk has reversed his claims that Donald Trump appears in the Jeffrey Epstein files after Trump threatened him with “serious consequences.” The public rift between the two escalated after Musk criticized Trump’s legislative agenda, calling his major bill “big and beautiful” sarcastically. Musk then alleged on X that Trump was listed in the Epstein documents and that this was the real reason they hadn’t been released. In a follow-up post, Musk hinted that the truth would eventually come out. However, both posts were later deleted.

Trump, responding to the situation, told NBC he assumes his relationship with Musk is over, stating he had previously supported Musk during his administration. Trump also warned that if Musk funds Democratic campaigns, there would be consequences. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called the fallout “unfortunate,” attributing Musk’s reaction to disappointment over the bill not including certain policies. She highlighted Trump’s continued focus on national priorities. Despite the deleted posts, speculation remains about whether Musk is retreating due to Trump’s warnings or if the move was coincidental.
