Donald Trump Trashed Over ‘Disgusting’ Comment About Half Of The Country On July 4th
Donald Trump has faced widespread criticism online after making a harsh comment about Democrats during his Independence Day speech in Des Moines, Iowa.
Speaking at his “Salute to America” rally on July 3, Trump expressed his anger toward Democrats for not supporting his newly passed bill. “They wouldn’t vote only because they hate Trump, but I hate them, too,” he said.
He continued, “I really do. I hate them. I cannot stand them, because I really believe they hate our country, if you want to know the truth.”
The remarks sparked outrage across social media, with many users condemning Trump’s words as divisive and offensive. Critics were quick to label him “a small, hateful man.”
One person tweeted, “So, he just told half the country he hates them. Cool,” while another echoed the sentiment: “So he hates half of the country.”
A third user wrote a scathing post criticizing Trump’s rhetoric, lamenting that America’s ideals had been “flushed… down this foul man’s golden toilet.”
Others pointed out the double standard in media coverage, suggesting that if President Biden had said something similar, conservative outlets like Fox News would have relentlessly attacked him for it.
The backlash highlights growing concerns over the tone and language used by political leaders, especially during national celebrations intended to unite rather than divide.
