Donald Trump just gave brutal response when asked about deporting Elon Musk after feud reignited
Donald Trump has made sharp remarks about Elon Musk following renewed tensions between the two. When asked whether he might deport the billionaire, Trump gave a strikingly blunt response.
The dispute reignited after Musk criticized a Republican-backed spending bill that raised the U.S. debt ceiling by $5 trillion. Musk slammed the bill on X, calling out both political parties and suggesting a new one — the “America Party” — might soon emerge.
In several posts, Musk expressed frustration with lawmakers who promised to reduce spending but supported the bill. He accused them of betraying their promises and warned they’d face consequences in future elections.
Trump responded on Truth Social, claiming Musk knew he opposed electric vehicle mandates before endorsing him. Trump reiterated that while EVs are fine, Americans shouldn’t be forced to use them.
He then accused Musk of heavily benefiting from government subsidies and said without them, Musk might have to shut down his ventures and return to South Africa. Trump hinted the U.S. could save a great deal without supporting Musk’s projects.
When a reporter asked Trump directly if he planned to deport Musk, Trump replied, “We’ll have to take a look.” He made a joking reference to “DOGE,” calling it a monster that might have to “eat Elon.”
Trump’s comments further escalate the feud, suggesting a deepening rift between the two high-profile figures, once publicly aligned but now openly at odds over policy and politics.
