Donald Trump Gives Final Answer On Whether Ghislaine Maxwell Will Be Pardoned

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has finally addressed whether he would consider pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell.

Michael Wolff, who wrote a biography on Trump, revealed that Trump was deeply concerned about what Maxwell might reveal during the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

Speaking on The Daily Beast podcast, Wolff said Trump became anxious after Maxwell’s arrest, reportedly asking questions like “What could she say?” and “What would she say?”—suggesting he was contemplating a pardon.

Jeffrey Epstein was convicted of sexually abusing hundreds of minors and died by suicide in a federal prison in 2019. Ghislaine Maxwell, long considered his accomplice, was arrested in 2020 and found guilty in 2021.

According to Wolff, Trump’s team had behind-the-scenes conversations about the risks Maxwell posed. Some feared what she might expose about Trump.

Despite this concern, Wolff claimed that those close to Trump were torn—hoping she wouldn’t talk, but also strongly advising against any kind of pardon.

Ultimately, Trump decided not to pardon Maxwell, putting an end to the speculation surrounding the case and any potential links to him.
