Donald Trump Considering Deporting Elon Musk
Donald Trump is reportedly considering the possibility of deporting Elon Musk amid their escalating feud.
The tension between the former president and Musk began over Trump’s controversial “Big, Beautiful Bill,” which Musk publicly criticized on social media platform X. Though things briefly settled, their clash has reignited in recent weeks.
Musk has now openly accused Trump of severely harming the U.S., claiming his actions are costing millions of jobs and threatening the country’s future. He even vowed to form his own political party if the bill is passed.
In response, Trump has made headlines with a surprising statement, suggesting he might consider deporting Musk, who was born in South Africa.
Steve Bannon, a former White House adviser, has already called for Musk’s deportation. When Trump was asked about the idea while heading to an immigration detention center, he replied, “I don’t know. We’ll have to take a look.”
Legally, deporting Musk may be difficult but not impossible. If a person is seen as a threat to U.S. foreign policy, or if their citizenship was obtained fraudulently, they could be stripped of it through a process called denaturalization.
Despite the legal hurdles, Musk, as the world’s richest man, might still face financial consequences or further political battles if tensions with Trump continue to rise.
