Vanna White bids an emotional farewell to Pat Sajak ahead of his final show

Vanna White delivered an emotional farewell to Pat Sajak ahead of his final Wheel of Fortune episode. Her pre-taped message aired during Thursday’s show.

“I can’t believe that tomorrow is our last show together,” said White, 67. “Eight thousand episodes went by like that.” The duo began hosting in 1982 and became one of television’s most iconic pairs.
Reflecting on their time together, White shared, “As the years have gone by, we’ve grown up on television, but we’ve also shared so much more behind the scenes.” She continued, “What an incredible and unforgettable journey we’ve had. And I’ve enjoyed every minute of it with you.”
Holding back tears, she added, “You’re like a brother to me, and I consider you a true lifelong friend, who I will always adore. I love you, Pat.” The segment ended with the two sharing a hug on stage.

While Sajak retires, White will continue her role on the show through the 2025-2026 season.
